What This Is
Meditation with Chico is a contemplative practice drawing from African cosmological tradition — the understanding that consciousness is not a private possession but a field, and that the breath is the bridge between the individual and the living world.
The practice moves through breathwork, conscious dreaming, and somatic awareness. It is not borrowed from Eastern traditions, though it respects them. It is rooted in the understanding that Africa has always had its own science of the inner life — in the water spirits, the ancestral contact, the elemental attunement of Ndebele and Bantu cosmological thought.
Chico does not teach techniques. He facilitates return — to the body's original intelligence, to the dream life, to the self that existed before the world made its demands.
What We Work With
Three entry points. One destination — the self that was always there.
Structured breath practice that moves energy through the body, clears accumulated stress, and opens access to states of consciousness that ordinary awareness cannot reach. Both individual and group formats.
The dream life is not unconscious — it is differently conscious. Learning to enter, navigate, and receive from the dream world is an ancient African competency. This practice restores it.
The body holds what the mind cannot process. Guided attention to sensation, posture, breath, and elemental attunement — learning to read the body's own intelligence rather than override it.
